Extract ZIP
Open a ZIP archive, see what is inside and save one file, a selection or everything. Password-protected archives work too.
Drop a ZIP file here
or drop it here, or paste. Up to 2.0 GB per file.
Runs in your browser. Your files are not uploaded.
For your safety, entries with absolute paths or .. segments, archives with more than 10,000 entries or more than 2 GB unpacked, and entries that expand more than 200 to 1 are refused.
Saving several files at once packs them into a new ZIP, because a page cannot write into a folder on your device.
How to use Extract ZIP
Drop a ZIP file to list what is inside.
Enter the password if the archive has encrypted entries.
Tick the files you want, or use Select all or Select none.
Select Save next to one file, or save your selection.
Questions
No. The archive is opened and unpacked in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere.
One file is saved as it is. A selection of several files is saved as a new ZIP named after the archive, with -extracted at the end.
Entries with unsafe paths, such as absolute paths or paths containing ../ that would leave the extraction folder, are blocked. So are entries with a suspicious compression ratio (above 200 to 1), which can indicate a zip bomb.
Yes. When some entries are encrypted a Password field appears. Enter the password and save the files. A wrong password shows an error.
