It uses SVGO's default settings: editor metadata, comments and hidden elements are removed, paths and numbers are shortened and styles are merged. The viewBox is kept so the drawing still scales.
If the result is not smaller, the original is kept and the result says it is already optimal.
Files larger than 20 MB are refused, because the whole document is held in memory.
